Students in this program are learning the benefits of yoga poses, breathing exercises , meditation and self reflection.
Here students are offered a safe space to explore class themes that support their independence as young adults such as self love, identifying and self regulating emotions and finding balance through meditation, yogic practices and journaling, environmental awareness, celebrating diversity, and how to process the stress of school and teenage life in a mindful way.
Students will become familiar with yoga poses in the traditional sanskrit language and will learn the skills to practice yoga at home, developing self care tools to last a lifetime.
